STACK.aero & Goodwin Company FAQ

Strategic Vision & Product

Why are Goodwin Company and STACK.aero joining forces?

This acquisition is driven by two highly complementary strategic goals. For Goodwin, it moves us directly into the CRM space, adding a best-in-class tool that allows our brokers to seamlessly manage their flyer and supplier lifecycles. For STACK, this integration allows us to embed Goodwin’s fintech platform directly into the CRM. Soon, STACK customers will be able to complete entire transactions and run all of their financial operations (FinOps) natively within a single, integrated environment.

Will STACK.aero continue to be available as a standalone product?

Yes. Customers of both STACK and Goodwin will have the option - but absolutely no obligation - to use the other's platform. If you prefer to stick solely with the system you are currently using, your service will remain entirely unchanged. For those who want to leverage the combined power of both platforms, the new integrations will be there for you to use.

What new capabilities are coming to STACK.aero?

The most immediate expansion will be the integration of Goodwin’s embedded fintech capabilities. This will transform STACK from a powerful business operations system into a complete transactional hub, allowing you to manage end-to-end FinOps directly within the system you already use to manage your flights.

Will STACK be using Goodwin’s engineering capabilities?

STACK will continue to have its own dedicated engineering organization, ensuring the product continues to evolve based on the needs of its core users. However, STACK will now also be able to tap into the larger Goodwin engineering team and leverage our deep Salesforce expertise to accelerate new features and integrations.

Leadership & Global Operations

Who will manage STACK.aero day-to-day?

The dream team of Gabby, Greg, and Johan will continue to operate STACK as a stand-alone entity, fully supported by the broader resources of Goodwin.

Will there be changes to the broader management or support teams?

No. The management teams and all employees at both companies are staying in place. You will continue working with the exact same dedicated teams, leaders, and account managers you know and trust today.

How does this impact STACK.aero's global operations?

STACK.aero will continue to operate its established hubs in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Through this merger, Goodwin will provide STACK with a strong, permanent footprint in the American market. Conversely, STACK's established international presence will serve as the foundation for Goodwin's expansion into Europe, Australia, and the Middle East - an expansion which will be supported by additional international investments Goodwin plans to announce soon.

Customer Impact & Next Steps

Will there be any changes to my current pricing or contract?

No. There are no changes to existing subscriptions, pricing structures, or contracts as a result of this merger.

Will there be any downtime or disruption during the transition?

No. Both platforms will continue running seamlessly. The integration of Goodwin’s fintech capabilities will be introduced as optional enhancements and will not disrupt your daily operations.
