Bringing together aviation operations and financial technology to simplify the charter business, from first inquiry to final reconciliation.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — October 20, 2026 — Goodwin Company, a financial technology platform built for charter aviation, today announced its acquisition of STACK.aero, a global aviation business operations platform purpose-built for charter brokers, aircraft operators, and corporate flight departments.
The acquisition combines STACK.aero's aviation-specific operational technology, industry relationships, and international experience with Goodwin's AI-based workflows, banking-service integrations, and automated financial operations.
Together, the companies aim to connect the charter lifecycle from initial inquiry through booking, trip management, payments, and financial reconciliation.
Both companies believe private aviation depends on relationships. Brokers are trusted advisors, while aircraft operators bring essential expertise and connections. Goodwin and STACK.aero are building technology that empowers these professionals rather than replacing them.
"Goodwin was built on a simple belief: the charter broker isn't going anywhere," said Tolga Demirel, Co-Founder of Goodwin Company. "The relationships and trust behind this industry are irreplaceable. STACK.aero shares that belief, and by combining our technologies with Goodwin's banking-service integrations, we have an opportunity to make the entire journey, from the first conversation to final reconciliation, simpler and more connected."
Founded in 2014, STACK.aero has spent more than a decade building aviation-specific business operations technology for charter brokers, aircraft operators, and corporate flight departments.
Built on Salesforce, its platform connects customer relationship management, lead capture, sourcing, quoting, contracts, trip management, documents, invoicing, and business intelligence. STACK.aero also brings established international relationships, deep operational expertise, and a team of business aviation veterans.
Goodwin modernizes charter aviation's operational and financial workflows, helping brokers and operators simplify sourcing, trip management, payments, and accounting.
A central focus is reducing the risk and friction of moving money. Disconnected approvals, invoices, and transaction records can lead to payment errors, fraud, and reconciliation gaps. Through Goodwin's banking-service integrations, client funds are held in separate, client-titled bank accounts, distinct from brokerage operating funds.
Goodwin's Dynamic Trip Ledger and Invoicing connects the financial activity of each trip. Client invoices, operator bills, vendor payables, and payments are tracked together, with wires, cards, ACH, and instant payments linked to transaction records. AI-assisted workflows help flag discrepancies and automate reconciliation, providing greater financial visibility with less administrative work.
"Every charter trip involves financial transactions between multiple parties," said Ben Clarke, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Goodwin. "Our vision is to make the movement of money as seamless as the movement of information, while reducing the risks that come with it. By connecting operational workflows with banking-service integrations, we're giving brokers and operators greater control, transparency, and confidence in every transaction."
The combined ecosystem is designed to connect:
By connecting operational and financial workflows, Goodwin and STACK.aero aim to reduce fragmented systems, strengthen financial transparency, and give aviation professionals more time to serve their clients.
The acquisition brings together two established aviation technology businesses with complementary strengths, while preserving what has made each successful.
STACK.aero will continue as its own product and brand within the Goodwin ecosystem. Greg Jarrett will remain CEO of STACK.aero, and the existing STACK.aero team will remain in place, bringing its aviation expertise, industry relationships, and experience into this next chapter.
For existing STACK.aero customers, nothing needs to change. Customers can continue using STACK.aero as they do today, with no required migration to Goodwin or obligation to adopt additional services. Those interested in Goodwin's financial technology and payment capabilities will have opportunities to access them as the companies bring their technologies together.
For Goodwin customers, the acquisition creates opportunities to access STACK.aero's established aviation business operations platform.
"STACK.aero was built by aviation veterans who understood that brokers and operators needed more than generic software. They needed technology purpose-built for the way this industry actually operates," said Greg Jarrett, Founder and CEO of STACK.aero. "Goodwin shares that understanding and brings complementary financial technology and payment capabilities to the table. Together, we have an exciting opportunity to connect more of the charter business while keeping the relationships and people behind it at the center."
The acquisition supports Goodwin's vision of building a connected aviation technology ecosystem. Financial terms were not disclosed.
